For the Monday group and an invitation to colleagues:
5.00-7.00 1WN 3.8 Monday 2 April 2007 (Note – this Monday we are back in 3.8)
After we have caught up with each others' news from the week I'm hoping that we can focus on catching up with Marian's news and thoughts from her post-doctoral enquiries.
The very good news from Jane is that the INTO proposal to privatise the language provision for International Students at Oxford Brookes has been rejected. Jane is now off to Hawaii for a few weeks to concentrate on the final phase of her doctoral writings. Erica is working on guidelines for supervising masters degree programmes. Alan is giving a lecture to the Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institute on the 11th April on: Inclusionality, Space and Flowerform: The Evolutionary Neighbourhood of Plants.
I've got some new multi-media work to demonstrate the use of the Apple-Mac applications of i-DVD and i-Movie for the generation of visual narratives.
Let's also review my claim that there is evidence from practitioner-researchers that they have created a new epistemology for educational knowledge as Donald Schon said that it would be created, from action research.
Here are our presentations for Chicago during AERA week, together with presentations for Invisible College and the International Conference for Teacher Research. Margaret's and Yvonne's presentation for AERA needs adding to the list and I'll do this as soon as I get the url.
