A contribution to our conversation on Kate's response to the paper on:

A controlled trial of mindfulness training in schools; the importance of practice for an impact on well-being by Felicia A Huppert and Daniel M Johnson

Here is where I'm experiencing Kate's expression of mindfulness at 1:26 minutes into the  6:13 minute clip below  (only we have the url)

What I'm understanding from Kate is that 'mindfulness' is a way of being that enables an individual to enhance their self-regulation in relation to their emotions, and to promote the happiness of all,  and in fulfilling Kate's Buddhist commitment to contribute to the happiness of all. I'm understanding 'mindfulness' as an embodied state of being that can have an influence on the well-being of others in practice.

Here are video-clips in which I'm experiencing the expression of mindfulness in Nigel, Chris, Marie, William and myself.

If we can agree that we can recognise  the expression of mindfulness, what forms of research are appropriate for enquiring into the influence of mindfulness in the well-being of oneself and others?
