THE HONEST FACT IS THAT THE TOTAL CONTRIBUTION OF DIVISION A OF AERA TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE EMPIRICAL AND THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE BASE OF ADMINISTRATION AND POLICY DEVELOPMENT IS SO MINISCULE THAT IF ALL OF US HAD DEVOTED OUR PROFESSIONAL CAREERS TO TEACHING AND SERVICE, WE WOULD HARDLY HAVE BEEN MISSED.

WILL SHOW HOW THE KNOWLEDGE-BASE OF DIVISION A OF AERA COULD BE ENHANCED THROUGH THE SELF-STUDIES OF EDUCATIONAL ADMINISTRATORS. WE ARE THINKING OF SELF-STUDIES THAT DEMONSTRATE OUR EDUCATIONAL INFLUENCES IN LEARNING WITH  EACH OTHER AS EDUCATIONAL ADMINISTRATORS AND IN THE LEARNING OF TEACHERS, STUDENTS AND THE SOCIAL FORMATIONS IN WHICH WE LIVE AND WORK.
